School Based  Apprenticeship

At school you can combine training for work with study by undertaking a School Based  Apprenticeship (SBA) as part of VCAL.

The BMLLEN is supporting a program titled “Connect-us” which provides a program of job-readiness training and a Traineeships for 20 young people. There are two programs scheduled per year. For more details visit the Connect-us website.

Group Training Companies (GTC)

Group Training Companies employ apprentices and trainees and then place these people with suitable employers (host employers) for all or part of the training period. This process provides greater security and support for the young person.
